Melanie and her ESOL students had an Easter Egg decoration workshop the week before easter. Some of the students come from Russia and showed everyone how to do it. they had a fantastic time and took home very creative Easter eggs for their children and families.
Some students from AMEP-B, Mouri, Asha and Dina, interviewed Melanie and her students about the event. Listen to their interview here.

Listen to the podcast and write down the ingredients needed to make Easter Eggs. Where do the students come from? Whose idea was it to decorate Easter eggs? Why? What are Faberge eggs?

To make Easter eggs you need a bowl, eggs, vinegar, food colour and other things like strips and glue.
The students who made the Easter eggs were from different countries, such as Russia, Iraq, Lebanon and Channa.
That idea was the teacher’s idea “Melanie when she read about it in a magazine first, and she though that the class would love it.

Ingredients for how to make Ester eggs. Melany took the recipe from a magazine. She boughth bolls, vinegar, eggs and food colouring. There were Inna and Nastiya from Russia, Alian and Sahara from Libano, Sheran and Juliya from China, Juliana from Macedonia, Rosana from Peru. They all were decorating the Ester eggs, some of them had never done it and they liked to do it for Ester.
