The VETnetwork Australia National Conference will be held in Adelaide on 15-17 September 2010.
The three day program has been designed for teachers, trainers, assessors, managers, community groups, registered training organisations, researchers and others who help young people undertake vocational education and training (VET) programs and prepare for work.
Keynote speakers will include Professor Erica McWilliam, an international VET researcher currently working on the Creative Workforce 2.0 Program, and Scott Pape author of The Barefoot Investor. The first day of the program will include a Research Forum on the latest VET information in the morning, and in the afternoon delegates have a range of ‘Out and About’ visits from which to choose.
On Thursday and Friday the program includes workshops, keynote speakers and panel sessions. This is the key event for VET in schools trainers, assessors and managers and all those working with schools to learn from leaders in the field.
Social events include a free Welcome Reception for delegates registering for the whole conference, and an optional Conference Dinner.
