The impact of the economic recession on university library and IT services

This UK report shows that IT services and libraries are not immune to the more commercial approach and will need to be equipped with the tools to assess their impact, value and costs. The ever changing demands from learners, teachers and researchers for sophisticated on-line services will require continued investments in order to continue to offer a competitive research and learning experience.
