BSB07 Business Services Training Package version 2.0 endorsed

Changes to the Business Services Training Package (BSB07) were endorsed and approved on 20 January 2009.

These changes included:

The development and incorporation into qualifications of the following units in Intellectual Property:

• BSBIPR601A Develop and implement strategies for intellectual property management
• BSBIPR501A Manage intellectual property to protect and grow business
• BSBIPR405A Protect and use intangible assets in small business
• BSBIPR404A Protect and use innovative designs
• BSBIPR403A Protect and use brands and business identity
• BSBIPR402A Protect and use new inventions and innovations
• BSBIPR401A Use and respect copyright
• BSBIPR301A Comply with organisational requirements for protection and use of intellectual property

The development and incorporation into qualifications of the following units in Business Continuity:

• BSBCON401A Work effectively in a business continuity context
• BSBCON601A Develop and maintain business continuity plans
• BSBCON701A Establish and review the business continuity management framework and strategies

Typographical corrections:

With the release of BSB07 version 2.0, IBSA will be updating the Continuous Improvement CD to make it easier for customers to locate individual units within the Training Package. An all new layout and search function will make it simple for users to locate units; while authenticated access to IBSA’s Continuous Improvement Database will ensure that users can access the latest updates to the training package in real time.
