New & Updated TAA04 Learner Guides from IBSA

IBSA has recently undertaken a comprehensive revision of the TAA04 resources to bring them up to date and ensure they provide excellent guidance for RTOs implementing the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and/or associated Skills Sets.

What’s changed?

Enhancements to the resources include the following changes & improvements:

Inclusion of up to date content relating to guidance on:

•VET

•Training Packages

•AQTF 2007

•Relevant policies and regulatory bodies

Revision of all references and resource lists.

Revision and extension of content on a range of topics to improve the knowledge, skills and understanding of learners, including:

•New subtopics and new and revised learning and assessment activities

•Expanded guidance to support building critical skill and techniques such as interpreting units, identifying evidence requirements and developing assessment tools

•Incorporation of new material and activities on Employability Skills

A comprehensive index to all subtopics across the materials to:

•Assist trainers and facilitators to develop learning and assessment strategies, training programs and assessment plans

•Support integrated learning and assessment activities

•Guide learners on where to find relevant information

Additions to the Facilitator Guide, including:

•A general index of all main topics covered in the Learner Guides

•A comprehensive index

•An appendix on Employability Skills
