TV News: Like to see a missed current affairs program?

April 30th, 2009 by gail.simmons in library resources, TV programmes

Have you missed your favourite TV current affairs programme lately?

As well as having last night’s 7.30 Report,  the TV NEWS database also includes many other favourite programmes such as Australian Television news, current affairs and selected documentaries from free-to –air networks with links to digitised video content in a compressed format.

TV NEWS is updated daily, with stories appearing on an evening news broadcast generally being available for access the next morning. Programmes can be downloaded and copied to a DVD in the Blended Learning Centre using Lenovo computers that have InterVideo Software installed.
Some of the programmes that are available to be viewed and copied are : 60 Minutes; 7.30 Report,  ABC News National,  Behind The News,  Cutting Edge Dateline,  Foreign Correspondent,  Four Corners,  Mythbusters, Ten 5pm News and World News Australia.  Teachers are always surprised that these programmes are available free of charge.
