Survey prize winners announced

The drawn winners of the Randwick College Library Customer Satisfaction Survey are…. drum roll please … students, Thuan (pictured) and Debbie. They each receive two free movie tickets courtesy of Randwick College Library and the student Association.

Thank you to all staff and students who participated in the survey. We are now analysing results and using your feedback to make recommendations to improve library services.

Please donate a new toy or a non-perishable food item to the Salvation Army this Christmas. We request that you do not wrap your item.

Donations may be left at SI Randwick College Library. Please ensure items are at the library by 12 noon, Thursday 15 December 2011 for pick up by the Salvation Army.

HSC text books

Congratulations to all our students who have finished their HSC exams. Please return all text books that you have on loan, to clear your library record.

 If you are starting to consider your future career or studies you might like to go to careers studylink to help with your course and career choices.

Library Book Sale

The library will be having a book sale starting this Monday 24 October, until all items are sold.   Most items will be $1. All payments to be made to the cashier.

Microsoft Project 2010 Professional on library PCs

Microsoft Project 2010 Professional has been installed on library PCs  11&12. The program is designed to assist project managers in developing plans, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing budgets and analysing workflows.

Highly recommended for building, management, IT, film and digital media students.

Library makeover

Randwick Library has recently undergone a makeover with stylish new shelf end panels, desks, chairs, and greenery.

The star of the refurbishment is the graphic end panels featuring local wildlife and fauna from Centennial Park. The vibrant images supplied by the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust have smartened up the area and made it a more pleasant place to study for our library community.
