The Student Association is a voluntary, non-political, non-profit service organisation, dedicated to making campus like better and more enjoyable by providing a range of quality services, facilities and activities for students.

A Board of students and staff manages that Student Association. The Board is the body responsible for the governance of the Student Association and for making decisions on all aspects of the Student Association’s activities and operations.

The INTERNATIONAL STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE of the Student Association has the responsibility to represent international students on matters relating to their welfare and needs within the college.

He/She works with the Events Director and Marketing Director to promote and develop events and activities for international students.

To be successful in the role, you will require a strong commitment to the Student Association, show enthusiasm and initiative, and volunteer some of your time to attend the meetings, activities and events organised by the Student Association. We understand that you may have a busy schedule and we are flexible in accommodating meeting times around your class timetable and needs.

Full training and support will be provided to all elected members. Recognition for the skills developed and experience gained and a Certificate of Recognition at the end of the year will be also offered.

The MARKETING DIRECTOR of the Student Association is responsible for the coordination, organisation and promotion of Student Association benefits and events via the Randwick SA media channels including e-newsletters, posters and Facebook.

He/She works with the all members of the Board to develop marketing strategies to increase awareness of and involvement of students with the Student Association.

To be successful in the role, you will require a strong commitment to the Student Association, show enthusiasm and initiative, and volunteer some of your time to attend the meetings, activities and events organised by the Student Association. We understand that you may have a busy schedule and we are flexible in accommodating meeting times around your class timetable and needs.

A Board of students and staff manages the Student Association. The Board is the body responsible for the governance of the Student Association and for making decisions on all aspects of the Student Association’s activities and operations.

The EVENT DIRECTOR of the Student Association is responsible for the organisation, coordination and promotion of Student Association events and activities to members. He/She assists the Presidents and Vice-Presidents in encouraging students to participate in activities and events organised by the association.

The Event Director investigates new events and activities that interest students and assist Student Association Staff in the development of those new events. He/She provides event reports at the monthly Board Meetings.

To be successful in the role, you will require a strong commitment to the Student Association, show enthusiasm and initiative, and volunteer some of your time to attend the meetings, activities and events organised by the Student Association. We understand that you may have a busy schedule and we are flexible in accommodating meeting times around your class timetable and needs.

The VICE-PRESIDENT of the Student Association works with the President to achieve the goals of the association, promote and encourages students to participate in association activities. He/She persuades non-members to join the association by explaining its aims and promoting its benefits.

The Vice-President deputises for the President when necessary. May be required to chair monthly Board Meetings and represent his/her college at the quarterly Sydney Institute Student Association (SISA) Council Meetings where major strategic and financial decisions are made. Members of the SISA Council are College Directors and SA Presidents from all colleges of Sydney Institute and the representative of the Institute Director.

To be successful in the role, you will require a strong commitment to the Student Association, show enthusiasm and initiative, and volunteer some of your time to attend the meetings, activities and events organised by the Student Association. Bid farewell to the insufferable cold of Winter.
