Djimi

August 1st, 2008 by MariaRosa Ochoa in ESL podcasts, ESOL students

Djimi used to study English as a Second language a couple of years ago. She has been very busy since I had her a as student. Looking after her three small children and having a new baby hasn’t stopped her from continuing her education.

She is an inspiration for us all!

Listen to her and to the questions the students were asking her. There are two parts, in the first one she talks about her education and in the second one the students ask her questions.

Writing:
Print our ESOL pathways sheet and colour in the steps that apply to Djimi’s educational pathways. You can then draw your own pathways (past, present & future) in a similar chart. You will find one in your Welcome to TAFE Kit.

Music by my brothers’ group Hato de Foces
