Adobe Connect Update

We received this update from TAFE eLearning Systems today regarding an outage of the Adobe Connect server for maintenance which will hopefully fix the problems which have plagued performace since the upgrade to version 7 in August.
“The Adobe connect server will be down at the following times
Tuesday 4th November from 8.30 – 8.45am (to remove Symantec)
and
Friday 7th November from 8.30 – 8.45am (to restore Symantec)
This is so we can remove Symantec and test Adobe Connect without any interference from Symantec, and to determine if it is the Anti Virus causing the problems
Adobe are convinced that this will solve many of the problems we have experienced since the upgrade
If this is successful, we will then upgrade to Symantec V11 (as advised by Adobe)
- Please notify your users
- Please can you and/or your teams, between 9am Tuesday, and 8am Friday, use your Adobe Connect, and report back any noted improvements (or not)
- Please email me some feedback on your experiences of Adobe Connect during this time
